Boot camp drills in Hiawatha Park

Recently, most mornings starting at 5:30AM a group of men are engaging in military boot camp style running and chanting in Hiawatha Park. I live nearby and the noise is quite loud. Does anyone have any information about this group?

There’s been a group on Alki @7:30 to 8:30am. They are navy and I’ve just seen them jogging and stretching. Not loud.

Probably these folks – been a standing listing in our calendar for a long time. They meet at 5:30 am in Hiawatha. (They were in the Grand Parade back in July, too.)
