alki_2008ParticipantFYI for all the bacon lovers out there: http://bakonvodka.com/
Yep, produced by a Seattle-based spirits company…bacon-flavored vodka. Can’t wait to see the names that come up for drinks made with this stuff.
Any ideas for some drink names?
ie, Russian Pig/Boar – bakon and kahlua

JanSParticipantI’ve seen a recipe for making it yourself somewhere…I’ll have to find it and share :)

KimberleyParticipantHave they actually started selling it yet?

datamuseParticipantI’ve heard of this, but I don’t like vodka so I’ll be giving it a miss.
A friend of mine has a recipe for bacon bourbon, however…

west seattle golferMemberI recall hearing on this forum that Shadownland (at the corner of California & Oregon) makes their own bacon infused Vodka. Never tried it myself, but I’d imagine it would make a mean bloody mary!

alki_2008ParticipantKimberley – I believe it IS being sold in liquor stores, but don’t know which ones are currently stocking it. I’ve heard that the Von’s restaurant in downtown Seattle has it, but haven’t been there to confirm.
I found a few places online that say you can make your own by putting fried bacon in a bottle of vodka and letting it sit for ~3 weeks, but I’m guessing Bakon is more economical and less time-consuming…and hopefully better tasting.
If anyone confirms a place to get this stuff, then please post. Personally, I’d like to try the stuff at a bar/restaurant before buying an entire bottle. :-)

CroweMemberIt is out there. From what I have heard, it’s yucky. I think I would make it or just stick to pure vodka and a few slabs ‘o bacon on the side. :O)
A Bloody Mary with pieces of bacon in it, YUM.
