katydidMemberLittle old lady looking for inexpensive transportation. As gas efficient as possible. Do you have any leads?

JoBParticipantKatydid… PM or call me..
We are selling Dale’s 2001 Ford Ranger Pickup with canopy and only 40,000 original miles for $5000.
It is an automatic in great condition.. we have serviced it regularly.
it does have one flaw.. the paintjob.. which is why it’s such agood deal…but it should be exceedingly reliable, comfortable transportation for a long long time.
I am replacing the battery and wiper blades and cleaning the interior to remove dog hair this weekend:)
it could be done today.

katydidMemberOne last try…would anybody know of a reliable, economical car that I might buy? Thanks for any help in this matter.

JanSParticipantkatydid…it might help people if you told what kind of budget you have to play with? Just a thought…bummer about your car :(

celeste17ParticipantKatydid, It would help if you told us how much you were willing to spend and are there any limitations on the vintage of the car?

flowerpetalMemberKatydid, I have sent you a PM.

katydidMemberHi, everybody…flowerpetal,I didn’t get your PM. Try mediamaven@clearwire.net. As far as price…only have a couple of thousand to spend…probably three at most. Naturally, I’d like to get the best value for that amount…if the universe sent me another little old lady’s car with about 100,000 miles that got over 25 mpg I’d be delirious with joy. Of course, in my dreams I’m driving around in a red convertible etc., etc….just dreaming, you know. And oh yes, my 94 y.o. mother has to be able to get into the front passenger seat sodoor must open wide and not be too low to the ground. I could probably afford a small finder’s fee too, if somebody finds the car I buy for me.

AnonymousInactiveKatydid – If you don’t find any leads through the forum, you might consider Ebay. That’s where we bought our cars.

AnonymousInactiveOr, is it ebay? Yeah, I think it’s supposed to be lower case.
