A “morkie” or “yaltese” BREEDER? Don’t believe the hype! Have you done a search on petfinder.com?

Um sad to say that is a breed is not even a “real” breed it is a designer breed which means it came from breeders. Most of these type of “breeds” have horrible health and temperament issue.

Most “breeds” like this came from puppy mills. So be very careful.

“Rescue – Cat Dog Other – NW Intl. Pet Rescue – Christina” <cmanning23@comcast.net>, they are up in Edmonds and deal with smaller dogs. Try that you might be surprised. I just saw a little Yorkie that is up for adoption. Simba

Not to hard to find you just have to open to other options instead of trying to find that “perfect” dog when she/he just passed you by.

I know a lot of people are going to poopoo me for shooting you down, but us rescue people see the down falls of designer breeds.

Apology in advance to MaryWS because this doesn’t directly address your original question, but in response to GHO, I already looked through Petfinder in hopes of recommending an adoptable dog to avoid a breeder and the closest Morkie is in California. There were lots of Yorkies or Maltese in the area though, and some puppies!

I have a 8 month female yorky/maltese mix 3 lbs very tiny and very cute and also a female 9 lb brown doxie about 1 yr old. They are very healthy and very very cute. I just moved from a house to a apt and have 2 other dogs and it is getting a little hard when I work 12 hr shifts. I have been getting complaints of barking and I cant have that. I have thought about finding them new homes but I wish I could send them somewhere that I could see them unfortunatelly noone wants any pets that I know. I am looking for a family that can give them a good home. They do well with kids and other pets. I am asking a rehoming fee for each. I bought the yorky for 400 and the previous owner bought her for 800 and I have all adoption paperwork. Im asking 200 for the yorky. I am asking a 75 dollar rehoming fee for the doxie. They are utd on shots. Call or text for pics 425-530-4762

    Thanks

    Kristi
