just put the tracking code in your website somewhere. It has to be on each page, so in the header/footer is best. It takes up to 24 hours to activate, so if you just set it up it will appear to not work for awhile.

I did put the code in early today, but I am getting this message, “Google Analytics has not been enabled by the administrator of the domain @xxxxxxxx.com.” That’s what’s driving me nuts! Cannot seem to get it to acknowledge that I am the owner and administrator of the domain. My Analytics used to work several years ago. Don’t know what changed!

Are you logged in with a different account?

Hi, Julie. Quite possibly, but I don’t know what login was used to open the account originally a few years back.

I’m not sure, but you might need to verify your domain ownership with CNAME verification. You can use this for lost passwords; I suspect you’d need to do something similar to switch the admin account to your current account.
