Overview: CondoManagements, Inc is looking for a dynamic, upbeat individual to join our team. This individual must be detail-oriented, a great multi-tasker, have the ability to effectively communicate and be willing to help out as needed. The individual must be a self-starter and have the desire to work as a team with everyone in the office and our clients.
Description: This positions principal function is to perform accounts receivable tracking and interfacing with delinquent owners, attorney’s involved, and keeping the property managers and Board members up to date, entering all the incoming accounts payable into the VMS double entry accounting system, assisting and supporting the full charge book keeper and helping with things such as loan amortizations, and other accounting functions. This position is full time. Salary D.O.E.
Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the accurate record keeping of all financial activities such as A/R (collections), A/P, and others
• Assisting with Year-end and month-end close process
• Analyzing high-volume data, using reports pulled from V.M.S. and Excel
• Assist with maintaining financial spreadsheets and reports.
• Filing and organization of supporting documentation
• Handling accounting work related to customer’s request
• Assisting with other accounting projects as needed
Required Skills:
• 5+ yrs of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of double entry accrual accounting required
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Yardi (similar to V.M.S.) and Microsoft Excel required
• We utilize Village Management Software (V.M.S.) Experience is an added benefit
• 4 yr degree a plus, but can be substituted by depth of experience
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to simultaneously manage many projects
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Positive references a track record of success
• Ability to multi-task and self-start
• Extremely detail oriented
• Able to create, organize and progressively update files
• Ability to follow and ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures
• Friendly and professional demeanor both to others in the office and our clients
• Ability to accept additional responsibilities and assist other team members as needed
