Rachel Maddow said something yesterday to the effect that this is the first time that she has gave P.H. more time than one second! Its moderately funny and worth the time. Somebody had to help that poor child create this; I’m sure she couldn’t have come up with it by herself!

I’ve seen Paris on talk shows a few times and was impressed with her. I think there is a brain in there and she enjoys playing her dimwit role.

there’s gotta be some smarts in there somewhere…look at the money she makes for not really being very talented. Dumb blonde? I have my doubts…

I’m not so certain that you need to be smart to make loads of money. In PH’s case, she had lots of money in the first place which had people panting after her. Pair that with an agent and “good” p.r. and more money rolls in.

Nonetheless, I did get a chuckle out of the video.

JoB: – from the Chicago Sun Times:

GIVE IT BACK! There’s word that Paris Hilton’s parents — Kathy and Rick Hilton — are so ticked off about that John McCain ad satirizing Barack Obama by using images of Paris and Britney Spears — they’ve contacted the McCain campaign, asking for a refund. The couple earlier had sent the presumptive Republican presidential candiate the legal limit for a married couple: $4,600.

    JenV..

LOL.. ya gotta love it. He is the “stupid old white guy” if he thought it was ok to make fun of a contributor’s child…

As for Paris, there was a phone in show on NPR today that had the comic writer who wrote the spot for Paris as a guest…

she was smart enough and game enough to go for it… so maybe there is a sense of humor buried there.. or maybe just more self promotion.

    doesn’t matter.. it’s a great political spot.
