Saturday classes meet on the first and third Shabbat weekends from 9:30 – 11:30 am.Hebrew Classes meet every Tuesday afternoon from 4:45 – 6:15 pm.
We have two positions to fill for the coming school year. One is a classroom teacher for our 6th-grade Hebrew class. Our program teaches prayer, not Hebrew as a language, so fluency in Hebrew is not required. However, the ability to read Hebrew and knowledge about the liturgy are both important. The pay rate is between $42 and $45/hour, depending on experience.The other position is a Hebrew Through Movement specialist who would visit all the classes on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings. Hebrew Through Movement is a fun and exciting way to get the kids up and moving and learning as they go.
