Hi! I just moved to West Seattle and this would be a lovely opportunity for me to help contribute something to the community, especially since I’m missing my own grandma a lot with the move. If she’d be up to it I’d love to bring my paint/paint brushes too and we can enjoy in some crafts while Grandpa is away or even just have a buddy during the day. I’d be honored to help take care of her. Please reach out here: nikaskemp@gmail.com

Hi! My name is Bogdan Romanenko, I’m 17 and recently graduated high school. I live and breathe the online world — I’m very tech-savvy and deeply familiar with social media, digital trends, and online communication. I’ve spent years immersed in platforms like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Instagram, and I understand how to create engaging listings, drive attention, and build a following.

I’m highly self-directed, a fast learner, and very comfortable working independently. I’d be excited to help streamline your listing process, improve your online presence, and even contribute to video editing and social media strategy. I think this role matches my strengths really well, and I’d love to bring fresh energy and a digital-native perspective to your team.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Not sure if I’m reading into this too much, but @AA: you might wanna take the “Thank you for sharing a happy story!” as a “please stop making every other thing you post be something negative”.

How would you feel if this thread suddenly filled up with “How dare you go to the grocery store without your card!”, “You must’ve planned this and do this all the time!”, “How often are you successful with this type of freeloading?”, and similar?

If I’m just wish-reading between the lines in WSB’s post, I’ll say it:
Why you gotta trash so many of the other posts on here?

    In reply to: Barking Dogs

    giglsmith

You can try to either talk to them or leave a note and explain the issue to see how they respond before worrying about a feud.
If the dog is barking during the day there is not much you can do about it.
If the dog is barking during the hours of 10pm – 7am weekdays or 9am weekends then you can log a noise complaint and have animal control come talk to the neighbor for you. Keep track of the times and dates in a log and provide it to them.
If you believe the dog is barking due to neglect or abuse, like being left outside during a heatwave, you can call animal control and they will go to the neighbors and talk to them for you also.
It takes about 2-3 follow up complaints for them to then start being fined, but if they do not have a dog license, their rabies shots up to date and proof of all that when animal control shows up, then they could also be fined for both of those things as well.

Good afternoon. My Name is Lisa and I was just looking to see if I could I find a small job helping out a senior or senior couple. Sure enough, there are folks that could use my help. I am a West Seattle resident not far from you. I was very involved in taking care of my parents and am familiar with the “not able to be left alone” story. Hi All! I have a Golden Chain tree that needs relocating because it’s in a drainage spot and the soil can’t support it–we don’t have another area where it would fit. I have pics to share if you’d like to see!

Whatever happened between you and the other driver, means glances, unkind words, it does not give you the right to put your baby at risk. You intentionally put your child in danger to prove a point? Is there another parent in your family? If so, I bet they aren’t very happy with how you chose to behave.
