I take my son to Dr Kumasaka at Swedish (on California Ave SW) and once we have seen Dr Evans there. Dr Kumasaka is experienced, kind, and is never in a hurry. We never feel rushed or neglected at Swedish. I feel Dr Kumasaka really understands children and parents, and he is not an alarmist but rather is patient and understanding. The nurses are all confident and positive too. I really appreciate the Swedish after-hours call line – where you can dial the after-hours free hotline and speak to an on-call nurse from Swedish at any hour (yes, I’ve called at 3am before).
That being said… my sister also has a younger child and she takes her daughter to West Seattle Natural Medicine (also on California Ave) and they love it there! So … you have some great options for WS doctors! Good luck :)
