Its really the best, and cheapest way to go. I had someone come out and give me an estimate and I was in shock, 32 windows was about 35K!. At the time I could buy pretty much buy the best windows available for about $350 each. I am not a full time carpenter but I can install one in an hour or so. Do a little homework for what fits your needs best. I am a little bummed when I recently replaced our windows, I wish I had gone with the cottage style that was original to our house and not the 1960 replacement windows. I still have great windows, just prefer the older “style”.
