The specific bills proposing the increases anywhere from .7 to 1.5% per $10k value and authorizing local transit increases every year in local fees are: HB1959, HB 1953 and HB 1485. In addition HB 1959 would allow an addition $40 per year in King County fees on top of local transportation fees. The bills also call for a raise in the gas tax to phase in over time of an increase of 10.5 cents per gallon. 60% of the projected $10 Billion – 6 billion dollars to my primitive math skills would go to transit.
