In the 15 years I’ve lived in this neighborhood, I only remember one decent Chinese restaurant. Used to be on the west side of California, near where the Rite Aid is now (and gone for many years).
The old New Luck Toy gave me MSG poisoning more than once, and the few times I’ve been to Ho-Win, their specialty seemed to be stir-fried cockroach.
There’s certainly an untapped market for decent Chinese food in WS.
