I really enjoyed the free trial session and recommend it for a sample of the training exercises and style. I ended up joining for a summer session and enjoyed it. The view at the beach and fresh morning air beat going to the gym I belong to, but I wouldn’t go during non-summer months. That’s just me. I’m a workout wuss and will go to the gym if it’s cold or wet out. I liked the people in the group and the trainer was nice. I also liked that each day they focused on a different set of muscles. If I remember right it was Monday for the core, Tuesday for arms, Wednesday for legs, and Thursday for cardio (roving through the park, running and using park equipment for pull-ups, lunges, etc), Friday was off. The trainer didn’t run the program like a hardcore bootcamp, but a few guest instructors did. I liked the accountability and camaraderie and I definitely saw fitness results. Next summer I might sign up again if for no other reason than to enjoy exercise at gorgeous Lincoln Park early in the morning a few days a week. For me, I need accountability to get me there!
