a few years back i took my truck there for brakes and was blown away by an $1800 estimate. i knew they were full of you know what and got my brakes done for under $700 at les schwabb in ballard. they did advise me of some potential additional work under the hood that would be around $200 if and when it needed to be done. i didn,t end up needing the additional work. some time before this encounter i sent my kid in there to get some brake work done and was very unhappy with the price but it was under $500 and i was too busy to deal with it but i know a bit about what this type of work is worth and feel we overpaid. i have been real happy at schwabb in ballard and have never left there feeling taken.
