Join us at the Westside Plant & Garden Art Fair!

This Saturday, April 30 (10-4) and Sunday, May 1 (11-3)

Held at the Westside Unitarian Universalist Church, 7141 California Ave. SW, this brand new West Seattle event promises to have something for adults and children alike including:

Hundreds of perennial, herb, veggie and berry starts.
Garden art created by local artisans in wood, glass, metal, ceramic and concrete
Gardening advice from local experts as well as from Jenny Mandt, Garden Coach at the West Seattle Nursery.
An opportunity to sample OMG! Artisanal Olive Oils & Vinegars, the perfect accompaniment for the season’s fresh greens. Phil Harris, creator of Seattle’s OMG! Flagship Store, will be on hand to share his recipes.
A “low-mileage” garden tool, accessory and book sale which will also include sustainable freshly cut local bamboo stakes in 6’ and 8’ lengths.
A Garden Cafe serving fresh baked goods each day.
Creative children’s activities which will include:
Creating colorful nesting balls for birds to to use in build their nests
Planting seed pots to take home
Face painting
“Meeting the Chickens” – Hands-on learning experience with friendly local chickens and their owners. (10-4 Saturday only)
“Photo Op with a Miniature Horse” Cruise claims to be 2’9” tall at the withers and 100% cute.” (10-4 Saturday only)
“Hanging Out with Jane the Goat” – Jane likes to accompany her owners in the house and go for family outings on a leash. She loves people and will be featured at the Fair on Sunday only from 12-2.
