Five powerful youth documentaries that tackle today’s toughest issues.

Nine diverse filmmakers from Western Washington, ages 10-15, take a deep dive into society’s toughest issues with passion and purpose. Armed with cameras, they tackle questions of fairness surrounding topics that matter most to them: homelessness, the metaverse, private vs. public education, book banning, and women’s roles in society. Their thought-provoking documentaries have not only earned recognition at prestigious film festivals but have also been praised by educational professionals for their impactful storytelling.

Following the screening there will be a panel discussion with the youth filmmakers and audience Q&A.
