Rotary Club Peace Pole Dedication at South Seattle College

South Seattle College is proud to announce the installation of a new Peace Pole at our main campus in West Seattle, made possible through a partnership with the Rotary Club of West Seattle.

The Peace Pole, a gift from Rotary to the college, will serve as a visible symbol of peace, unity, and our shared commitment to building a more inclusive and connected community.

The eight-foot Peace Pole features the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in eight languages and will be installed in the Robert Smith Building courtyard outside the library.  Peace Poles are recognized around the world as symbols of hope and understanding, bringing together people of different cultures, faiths, traditions, and perspectives around a shared vision of peace. There are more than 250,000 Peace Poles worldwide, including several installations throughout West Seattle.

Time:         Guests are invited to join the program from 1:05pm – 1:30pm
Parking:      From 16th Ave. SW, choose Entrance #2.  Proceed to Visitor Parking area located near the RSB (Robert Smith Building).
