The San Gennaro Foundation of Seattle is excited to announce San Gennaro Festival of Seattle is back September 6-8th. Now in its seventh year, this three-day Italian festival in Georgetown brings
together the best in Italian cuisine, a beer and wine garden, activities for kids, merchandise booths and three nights of live music and dancing.

This year’s headliner is direct from Italy, singer/song writer, Roby Santini, playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Other entertainers include the popular Ray Massa’s EuroRhythms from Columbus, OH, and Graziana Lazzaro all the way from New Jersey performing for the first time in Seattle.

“This year is going to be our best yet! We’ve actually added at least 5 more food booths, so there will be many more options for some delicious Italian food,” says Gennaro Mascio, one of the founders of the
festival and a native Italian.

The festival will once again hold a blood drive to raise awareness and much needed donations for
Bloodworks Northwest. Last year, the festival collected 16 pints of blood and saved 48 lives.

Other highlights include an expanded children/family area with different activities throughout the day,
including free face painting and crafts, cooking demonstrations and a traditional procession Saturday
morning starting at 11:00 p.m.

The San Gennaro Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 2013 to honor St. Gennaro, the
Patron Saint of Naples, and his commitment to help people in need. The Foundation’s goal is to raise
money through events such as the San Gennaro Festival to help support local community efforts. This
year Cathedral Kitchen and Plus One are the charities selected to receive proceeds from the Festival.

FESTIVAL HOURS: Friday Sept. 6th, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday Sept. 7th, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., Sunday Sept.
8th, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Festival location on South Angelo Street and Ellis Ave South.
This is a family friendly, free event.
