In 2009 Mountain to Sound Outfitters opened on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. It was a recession, several regional specialty winter shops had just closed including Olympic Sports and Mt Pilchuck Ski and Sports. We decided to bring a ski and snowboard shop to West Seattle!
