More photos to share as the weekend ends, from West Seattle’s biggest beach and one of its smallest — just ahead:

First, from Cove Park north of the Fauntleroy ferry dock — as part of the Fauntleroy Church (WSB sponsor) centennial celebration this weekend, the Friday night bean feed and talent show (photo here) was followed by vespers on the beach; these photos are by Ben Ackers:

Now, northward to Alki – David Hutchinson sent scenes from the final afternoon of the annual two-day Alki Art Fair:

Besides being an excellent photographer, David is also a volunteer with the Statue of Liberty Plaza Project, now under construction at Alki, and notes that many Art Fair-goers stopped to check on the progress of the plaza, now about two weeks into two months of work, and to read postings on the fence including the invitation to the September 6th dedication (see the flyer here).
