FRIDAY NIGHT: Family skating at Alki Community Center: “This weekly event at Alki Community Center is suitable for all ages and all abilities! This is a great time to practice your skills and tricks while experiencing a roller-rink atmosphere. You can always look forward to the Limbo, and friendly racing. If you don’t have your own skates, you can borrow a pair of ours!” 6:45-8:45 pm ($3/person)

FRIDAY NIGHT: The beguiling sounds of gypsy jazz will shimmer as 5-member; Billet-Deux takes West Seattle’s Historic Admiral Theater stage, Friday, January 30 at 8:00 P.M. Doors open at 7:15. The group takes the best from the jazz masters, applying the excitement, the thrilling virtuosity, and swinging groove while melding it with the sophistication and coolness of modern jazz. Tickets for the show are $10.00 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets: or at the door prior to the show.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Out of the Blue Concert: An Evening of Friendship and Frolic Featuring the Talented Musicians of Westside Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Doors open at 7 p.m. Dancing and fun until midnight! $10.00 per person. No charge for children under 12. Alki Masonic Lodge 4736 40th Avenue SW. Introducing: The Blue Grasshoppers,a local bluegrass band made up of three local kids. And Featuring: Out of the Blue, Phil Mariconda, Lost Dynasty, Steve Bennett, and Lee Corley.
