Network damage could mean copper thieves. They can’t tell if a cable is copper or optical fiber until they cut it.

We were down this morning at work in Georgetown at 7 am.  It came back on at 7:45 am.

I saw a very bright flash around 6:10am in the vicinity of Morgan somewhere east of 41st. I assumed maybe a transformer blew or something. That doesn’t line up with “north West Seattle” but the timeline matches closely when onion noticed the outage.
