People were lined up waiting to be the first customers for Daiso‘s new Westwood Village store when it opened its doors at 9 this morning. It was an exciting day for the staff, too:

The new store is in the combined space previously occupied by two businesses – Fresh Vitamins (which closed six years ago) and SportClips (which closed last year).
Had a great time spending money here today! Store is organized and well stocked. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Wish them the best of luck at this location.
So happy to have a neighborhood place to grab a Gokuri drink! Their fridge was very well-stocked and diverse!

The more of these places that open in West Seattle, the fewer reasons I have to ever leave West Seattle. More please.
I love Daiso. Wonderful to have one nearby. I hope they don’t suffer the same shoplifting fate that forced other stores in Westwood Village to close.
