Presuming here that “‘Road rage’ gunfire” means one motorist opened fire on another motorist perceived to have done some inconsiderate motoring to the first motorist?

The circumstances were not described over the air other than the initial dispatch mentioning “road rage.”

It’s not even worth honking at another car.   You could get a bullet in return.   Such is our future.   It’ll be a Mad Max world for our grandchildren.

My windshield was smashed with a baseball bat for honking to get someone’s attention to pull forward.

The car was found in Rainier Valley. It was my friend would was shot at. The shooter was relentless and thanks to my friends excellent driving skills, was able to get away but cops showed up to take pics of shells. This guy was a road rager who took advantage of being in a stolen car.

Sorry, comment time is over.
