WHALES: Humpback sighting off West Seattle

1:28 PM: Thanks to Kersti Muul for the tip: She says two humpback whales have been milling off Cormorant Cove (3700 block of Beach Drive). Humpbacks have grown more common in Puget Sound. Let us know if you see them!

2:10 PM: Texted photo added. Kersti says in a comment below that it might just be one humpback.

For anyone with an Apple TV, they may have seen the screensaver video Apple provides of a Humpback viewed from below as it gently breaches several times. You can see it at this web site: https://bzamayo.com/watch-all-the-apple-tv-aerial-video-screensavers#8a5f2d342ab0e8ae2ee7c8b59d9437bc

Saw this beauty of Alki Point Wednesday morning complete a full breach! It was amazing. He/she was spotted again yesterday afternoon in the same location. An awesome sight to see.

Sorry, comment time is over.
