WHALES: Orcas in view, southbound

Transient orcas are back in the area, southbound off the north edge of Elliott Bay, reports Kersti Muul of Salish Wildlife Watch – in view looking north from Alki. Let us know if you see them!

    I didn’t see those but I saw Orcas right off Coleman Pool around 7am this morning, so cool!

      Same group! I text the blog this morning about them. They were close to shore! Ended up going into Elliot bay

        Close to shore is an understatement.  I was running and I saw one pop up maybe 20 feet away and I was like WOW!
