I have one of the jobs the government didn’t shut down. My bus came 5 minutes early and only had 5 people on it. Normally it’s running late and I get one of the last seats or have to stand. I hope if they start running on a limited schedule that bus drivers will be covered with paid time off. They provide a very important service for the city that keeps our freeways from turning into L.A. traffic.

I wish I could find the link to Metro’s actual comments, but for what it’s worth they seem happy with the empty buses because it allows social distancing while still offering an alternative to driving.

Not that  there’s a lot of traffic….  But, there’s a truck (one of the Nucor steel rebar flatbed trucks) that is stalled at Delridge Andover (East bound facing). So a bit of trouble, since more trucks can’t leave Nucor. easily due to this standstill.  And then,  trucks trying to enter Nucor are having a little trouble, getting backed up, and blocking SB Delridge traffic from time to time.

Well the stalled truck (@ Delridge/ Andover) cleared after about 30 min.

Sorry, comment time is over.
