That’s a 30 mph area. I wonder how those accidents happen when there is also a camera at that intersection?

Yep -people can follow too close or not sufficiently check before merging/turning/changing lanes at any speed.
This is the second recent crash on the section of 35th where the road diet occurred.
I live right there. Crashes have absolutely increased after the road diet by that signal. It was really bad at first and has calmed down since people have gotten used to it but it still seems to be more than before overall.
It’s a sketchy intersection for some reason. I get off the bus there and cars have almost hit me many times as I’m crossing the crosswalk. I always have to break my neck to make sure they arent goin to take a free right and hit me.
It’s kind of fascinating how, on every post about a car crash, so many people rush to fill in the utter lack of information with their own biases.
Well Nolan, it is part of the human condition. But how do you know they have an utter lack of information? Thistleguy lives right there, J has direct experiences at this intersection, Hipster says it is the 2nd recent wreck at near the same location…..doesn’t seem to be biases but humans sharing what they know.
