I’m currently in Pioneer Square and can see the helicopters from here. However, right around 11 it sounded like there was a fighter jet of some sort zooming past. Any idea if this is part of the same drill or something else?

Someone mentioned that on Twitter. Might be the same one we saw Friday – it was NOT part of the drill. Don’t know what it was doing but we’ve had several sightings in the past few months, and with Boeing Field so close, not necessarily unusual.

Yes, I heard the fighter jet too and wondered if it was related to the drill. I heard the one last week, but didn’t ask/mention to anyone cause it seemed like nothing important, but what are they doing when they go zipping around like that? I mean, are those types of jets parked at Boeing field all the time?

Sorry, comment time is over.
