West Seattle Saturday: Drug Take-Back Day; ‘Meet RapidRide’; tour Lincoln Park…

We featured that very regal dog’s photo – shared by Evie, who took it outside PCC (WSB sponsor) – on the WSB Facebook page last night, asking for captions (check ’em out here; a couple commenters note the dog’s named Aslan). Seemed like a fun way to unleash a weekend. Now, here are today/tonight highlights from the WSB West Seattle Events Calendar:

“Driving my human around in a sports car is fun and all, but I’m much too distinguished for this! I should be driving my human in a Bentley!”

don’t think there’s much chance of anyone trying to steal that car.

THAT is some funny stuff! Kind of like the dog I saw riding side-car on a motorcycle the other day. Seattle and their dogs easily could be a coffee table book.

I took the new route #50 this morning and our poor driver was really confused! First, he missed the Alaska Junction stop, which is one of the main stops in WS. Then, he missed the turn on Avalon! We ended up going down Genesee SW to get back on route, going up on the curb at one point. I kid you not, we also almost missed the turn for the WS bridge, but I called on him to turn at the last minute. It was a harrowing bus ride for sure!

That’s my Pup! The captions from everyone on FB have made my day…so funny. Aslan is so good…he just sits and stares to the direction I went…often when I get back to the car there is a throng of paparazzi surrounding him. All of your smiles at Aslan make me smile every day!
