Thanks to Melissa for the reminder that one of the movies playing this week at Admiral Theater was partly filmed here in West Seattle. We mentioned the Shipwreck Tavern shoot for “Safety Not Guaranteed” in May of last year. According to the Admiral schedule, the movie is showing there once a night through Thursday, at 9 pm.

    Nice! We are actually in the lobby waiting for this movie right now. Didn’t know it had a West Seattle connection.

    We just watched it and loved it! The West Seattle/WA connection was really neat to see, and we thought it was great to be in the excited audience that cheered the Shipwreck and all got excited when they showed familiar WS houses.

    It also looks (from the trailer) to have been filmed in Ocean Shores, WA. There a connection between Ocean Shores and Admiral in that the Admiral Theater and Ocean Shores Cinema are part of the same Far Away Entertainment group http://www.farawayentertainment.com/
