West Seattle Junction Car Show to return – and adding motorcycles!

It’s official, says organizer Michael Hoffman (of Liberty Bell Print and Design) – the West Seattle Junction Car Show will return for its fifth consecutive year, Sunday, September 16th. And this year, some changes, he says – “This year we are broadening the field. Previously, it was cars that were pre-1975. Starting this year, it will be cars, motorcycles, and mopeds that are pre-1980.” Keep an eye on wsjunctioncarshow.com for registration info.

It didn’t happen last year (the previous organizers told us they just weren’t going to do it any more) and we haven’t heard any indication it’ll be brought back …

Very excited for this event. It is very well done and the vehicle owners are awesome to chat with…great idea on adding motorcycles ‘n’ mopeds.

A big thank you to Michael of Liberty Bell Print and Design for once again organizing this event. You do a great job Michael!

I love the junction car show. Being a motorcycle rider myself, there is no way im gonna miss it this year.

Though, I think it would be really cool if they pushed the requirement for motorcycles up to pre-1990. There are some fantastic and interesting bikes made in the 80’s that I would love to see.

The more the merrier I always say.

    Coyote,
Thanks for the input. This is a test year for motorcycles and mopeds. We will take your info into consideration when we evaluate 2012. Glad you like the show!!

Finally something in this city that is motorcycle friendly. Motorcycles and scooters play an important part in congested cities where our “mayor” only thinks of bicycles (who do not pay their fair share for bike lanes). We need more motorcycle parking and discounts for motorcycle parking.

My 1973 Suzuki TS-185 will be there. Near mint condition – quite a show piece.

I can’t wait until my restored and customized 1992 Suzuki GS500 can go on display. That’s the red cafe-style you may have seen around West Seattle. Maybe a category for custom bikes on a space-available basis?
