C & P Coffee Company: Welcoming a new West Seattle Blog sponsor

This afternoon, we officially welcome one of the newest WSB sponsors, C & P Coffee Company. New sponsors are offered the chance to share information about their business, and here’s what C & P Coffee wants you to know:

C & P Coffee Company was founded in 2003 by husband and wife team Cameron (“C) and Peter (“P) Moores. The couple’s vision of providing a community gathering place that features excellent coffee, friendly service and a platform for local events, art, and music came to fruition when they found a charming craftsman-style house for lease. Over the years, they have established themselves as an intrinsic part of the West Seattle community; supporting local events, fundraisers, a community garden space, and a place for neighbors to meet and gather.

Come enjoy the ambience for yourself and bring your laptop to use the free wireless internet access. Proudly serving Lighthouse Roasters’ fine espresso and coffees, as well as a rotating selection of beer and wine. Indulge in wholesome baked goods from Essential Baking Company, Little Rae’s and Mighty-O vegan doughnuts.

C & P hosts a variety of events; wine tastings, arts and crafts fairs, weekly live music, poetry readings, and offers their lovely setting for parties, baby showers, meetings and private event rentals.

Open Mondays-Fridays 6:30 am – 8 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 7 am-8 pm, C & P Coffee is at 5612 California SW (map), and online at candpcoffee.com; the live-events schedule can be found here.

We thank C & P Coffee for sponsoring independent, community-collaborative neighborhood news on WSB; find our sponsor team listed in directory format here, and find info on joining the team by going here.

I am one of the biggest coffee snobs I know and C&P makes one of the finest cups of coffee in Seattle. Congratulation C&P, keep on brewing for a long, long time…..

Jeez, I’ve only been there once, but the whole experience from the curb to the interior is the best. A very special place in West Seattle, if I ever decide to “hang out” somewhere it would be here.

Awesome place. I’m sitting (here) now enjoying a great cup o’ Joe.

It’s funny – I think of the WS-Blog and C&P as my top 2 indispensable West-Seattle institutions (#3 is probably Easy Street). I would have assumed that C&P were already a sponsor….

C&P pulls a mean espresso, and with the folks that work & hang-out there, the chill atmosphere, music & art … it’s a must-visit.

I’m not much of a coffee place hanger-outer but went today, ironically, attending my first meeting of the job search group that meets there on Tuesdays.

    .

To the best of my recollection, it was my first time visiting C & P as well. I can recall visiting that location maybe just one other time, but that was back when it was an antique shop, IIRC.

    .

Found it to be quite cozy, much the way I expected it to be, having heard many rave reviews over the years.

C&P is the best coffee in West Seattle, but almost as important as their delicious coffee is their incredible sense of community. It is truly a lovely place.

C&P is a complete hidden gem. Wonderful coffee, lots of comfy spots to rest, even a little wine when you feel like it. It’s the perfect little spot to catch up on the day or catch a breath when you’re busy.

Great coffee and Mighty-O donuts. I am so lucky to live a few blocks away.

Cam and Pete are the best. And so is George (who works there)!

C&P is an absolutely wonderful, unique coffee house that just about everyone loves!

We had our rehearsal dinner there (Cam and Pete rent out the house for special events) for a very reasonable price; Pete and George helped the evening go very smoothly and we had a ton of fun. Thanks Pete and George!

George pulls the best shots EVER! Cam and Pete are lovely human beings. LOVE C&P!

It’s great if you like to step in dog s**t in the backyard. And the offending dog was the ‘coffee shop dog’. When I told them about it they just shrugged their shoulders and didn’t care at all. No thanks.

About time C&P became sponsors. They embody the best of West Seattle.

Wish I hadn’t moved to Fremont! Miss you Cam and George (and you too Pete).

I love this place! One of the first spots I like to show to out of town visitors too. Cozy, comfy and great coffee.

Nice atmosphere and good coffee, but dog friendly should not mean having dogs inside–leashed or not. It’s against the law for any establishments that serve food. I gave up on them managing that situation and stopped going there.

My dog Izzy Says its one of her favorite places to go.

  • JackTheCorgi November 13, 2010 (4:30 pm)

Pete, Cameron, and the barista crew are just about the nicest people you can meet and call them friends. The place is unpretentious, comfortable, and it just feels right.

Cam, Pete and George are all wonderful people. I used to go there every Sat until I moved out of state. Cam would know what i wanted and pull my drink as I walked through the door. Wonderful place with amazing coffee.

Sorry, comment time is over.
