West Seattle weekend scene: Engine 29 meets a future firefighter

Via e-mail from the Engine 29 “B Team” – that’s Lt. Paul Andrews and Eli. They explain:

We came across this super-cute kid named Eli down at Alki Beach earlier today and just thought this photo turned out great. He was all dressed up in his fire gear patrolling the beach. Someone suggested we send it to you guys and so we decided we would.

Thanks for sharing! (Station 29 is the one in North Admiral.)

Best story ever. That kid will likely remember the time he met the firemen for the rest of his life. And his parent(s) will probably hear about it for the next year. Constantly. :)

What a great way to make Eli’s day, I’m sure he’ll remember this day for a very, long time. Engine 29’s crew is awesome.

How exciting…..more than you will believe. As a FB friend 3000 miles away in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan the small little photo caught my eye and I new from visits with the firetrucks when he visited here it was my Grandson Eli. Went to the photo album and blew it up larger to make sure. He does love firetrucks and his many books at home with them. Thank you so much Lt. and Engine 29….and you too WS Blog.\
Would love to get a copy of the photo if possible.
