  i just realized i have the wrong kind of batteries for my flashlight.

  a few weeks ago when my house first lost power for the ‘windy’ season-i did not know where any of the stuff i wanted to use was. i had to rummage around in my basement with a crappy candle. to avoid the late night frustration of trying to find random supplies-i put together a little ’emergency’ drawer in my kitchen with flashlight, batteries, candles, water, a few snacks, a small camp stove and pot for heating water for tea etc. on our back porch.
  now- bring on the weather!
