Also from the liquor-license files: Alki Urban Market

Another sign the store planned for the remaining space in the ex-Alki Market building (next to All the Best Pet Care and Cactus) is getting closer to reality – the proprietors-to-be of Alki Urban Market have just applied for a liquor license, under the “grocery store/beer and wine” category.

I just took a look at the liqour license listing for Alki Urban Market and noticed the listing for Pegusus’ move to their location in the old Coyotes spot.

Thank you! We check that page once daily but that (and several other entries for elsewhere in the state) was added after we looked yesterday afternoon … we’ll be checking with them shortly regarding when the big move will happen. They historically shut down for a little while around Christmas so if we were betting people we’d lay money on that as a transition time.

They’ll carry beer, wine, cigarettes, chips, pop, candy for sure.
Any guesses (educated or otherwise) on what else?
I had heard early on it was going to be a deli/restaurant, also. The deli part I’d love.
I talked with lady at the pet store and she said they were planning on opening mid-January.
    Anyone know anything more?

Sorry, comment time is over.
