LOST KITTEN: Seen Squeezy? – December 14, 2022 7:34 pm

I am missing my 6 month old kitten. She has been missing for hours. She is wearing a collar but it has no id on it. She comes to the name “Squeezy” and is extremely friendly. If you have any information contact 206-949-9833. Thank you.

I mistakenly first published this in the regular news section and there’s no way to just transfer comments so I’m copying them over.
    From “Been There”:

“Cats are usually quite close to home, but if scared or confused they can freeze up for hours under bushes or shelter. Go out tonight after it gets quiet and slowly but systematically walk your property, gently calling her name. (Just you or the person whose voice she is most likely to recognize, too many people searching can be confusing.) Stop frequently and listen for her mews, as she may respond but not come out right away. Focus on the perimeter of the house, shrubs, hedges, and gradually widen; be sure to look up into trees, but listening is more important than looking. Continue to call her name as you return to the house; she may follow you, so keep checking the door. I hope you find her safe and sound!”

    From LKR:

“Leave a door cracked or a garage door slightly open. Kitty cats will often try to return in the middle of the night and look for a way in! And ask your neighbors to check their garages and other warm/hidden places. And get a microchip for her!”

What area is the kitty missing from?

The owner didn’t say and hasn’t yet answered my followup question.
