I spotted her this morning @ 7:50am while leaving for work.  She was at corner of 50th Ave SW and SW Neisz.  I left a text message…..but just in case anyone else sees her roaming about and can help.

I just spotted a black dog wandering on 54th Ave SW south of Genesee. Seems far from the last sighting and I didn’t get a great look because it is dark, but the size is about right. I couldn’t get close even with a bag of treats.

Thank you everyone for letting me know when she is spotted. She will not come to anyone, even me. We are working with a professional dog tracker to set humane traps with cameras to hopefully bring her home.

Get in touch with Three Retrievers they are the best at finding “wayward” pups. Also I just read on ND website that someone saw a black poodle-type dog in the Alki area some 7 hrs ago, they were on their balcony so they couldn’t try to catch it..https://www.3retrievers.com/

We have stopped chasing her since she will not come to anyone, even me. We have hired a professional tracker/catcher who is setting humane traps with cameras. She was spotted on a camera last night but did not go in. Please continue to post sightings so we can adjust trap placement if needed.

Possibly seen at 1:55pm in front of Alki Church on S.W. Hinds St between 61st and 62nd walking towards 63rd. By the time we go out the door to follow we lost sight.

Update for everyone. She was found on Beach Dr. Now on a leash and has some food/water. Contacted owner and someone’s coming by to pick her up now!

My daughter and I were the ones who followed her for almost an hour and finally cornered her in a neighbors yard off beach drive.  Lots of neighbors helped.  One man was amazing with her and was the one to get her on the leash, one woman was the one texting the owners and waited with us until the owners friend could come and collect her.  It was amazing how many people wanted to be sure the dog was safe.  We were so glad that we could get her leashed up, given some needed food and water, and send her back to her owners.  She was really freaked out, and starving.  But she was a really sweet creature, and I hope she is doing well.  It will probably take time to get her to calm down and trust people.  I imagine she had some kind of past trauma before she was adopted.  All the best to you and Fankie.
