We are now on the waitlist to enroll our child into Tilden for 2nd grade next yr (2012-13). Does anyone have insider info about potential openings for next year? We’ve already spoken with the school, and it sounds like our chances are slim…
Our daughter is in 2nd grade at Tilden, and had new students join her class this year and last. The school allows up to 18 students in the 2nd grade class, up from 16 in 1st, so at least a couple spots should be opening up next year. Good luck!
Openings happen, too, when kids test into the Spectrum and APP programs and parents decide to take kids out and go that route. Chances may be slim, but entry is not impossible.
