GreenSpacesMemberHi – I am president of one of the community subassociations in High Point, called Redwood High Point. We have long had trouble with our cleaning service for the 6 condo buildings that house the “suites”. They are 3 stories, have a lobby area, carpeted hallways and stairs, and wood work that needs dusting and glass doors that need cleaning. We have a management company that can provide the profile of services needed. I would like to hire a West Seattle business or person/team if possible. Or I will take recommendations for services originating out of the area but are reliable and actually earn their keep.
We’re hoping to find a company that can keep up with changing the interior light bulbs, too, but since our current service is supposed to but never has, we may be taking that over ourselves.
By the way, I don’t recommend Buena Vista cleaning services…
Thanks,
Wendy

AlkiKmacParticipantWhen the couple we use to clean our apartment started, they mention they also do janitorial work. I’m not sure if that is the case currently, but I recommend checking with them. Brulio and Janet have been our cleaners for almost a year and are 100% reliable and do great work. They have earned two new clients through us, as well, who are both happy with their services. 206-335-3943 (cell) or 206-932-2606 (home). Tell them Myrtle-the-dog’s parents referred them.

KenParticipantGreenspaces:
Off topic a bit, but can you tell me how the addresses work in the redwood condo units? I am trying to make an updated map for a voter registration drive and the king co GIS system does not even indicate a central address for the complex. They do show all the unit numbers. Are all complex addresses XXXX SW Raymond St? If so which of the unit addresses is the mailing address? I don’t want to knock on doors of already registered voters, so unless I can match their address to the map, they might get a canvasser.
Back to the topic, are the specs on line for a bid on the job? I have been doing a little cleaning for hire and this sounds like a very small job that is literally within walking distance of me. I am also tall enough to change most lightbulbs without a ladder :)

charlabobParticipantI just wandered into this topic and wanted to again enthusiastically recommend Pamela! We’ve used her services since we’ve been here and recommended her to everyone! She and her team do all the usual stuff excepetionally well AND they have often gone above and beyond what we could possibly expect.
Here’s a link to previous recommendationss, from me and Jans.

GreenSpacesMemberThanks for the recommendation. I just talked to Pamela and she will call our association manager to get the criteria for the bid.

KenParticipantNo email yet. However my spam filter is kind of aggressive. It should not reject anything that is text formatted.

GreenSpacesMemberKen – my email spent three days being rejected. It got held up in the queue and then the retry timeout was exceeded and it was perm rejected last night. You can email me from my blog. Maybe if I respond to something from you it will get back to you.

KenParticipanthehe, I already emailed via your blog contact form. My mailto address is in my name here and the server is my own located in my basement. My 300 spams a day are getting through just fine before the filter gets them. :) (I debug my spam filters by duplicating each message and running it through google mail as a check.) When smtp gets overloaded on the server, it sets off an alarm with a siren sound effect. I will send my gmail address via the form.
