LilBerkieMemberI’m looking for a roommate of any gender to share my great Admiral District (West Seattle) apartment from May-August. It’s 2 bed/1 bath, washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher, wraparound balcony, and shared rooftop deck with views. I have great neighbors, and it’s right near restaurants, Alki beach, several grocery stores, multiple bus lines, REI vanpools, and running trails.
Me: I’m fun-loving but quiet, outdoorsy, fairly clean but not fastidious, and usually busy. I have a 60-pound lab/beagle mix, so you must love dogs, but please no additional pets. He likes to be spoiled. I spend my free time either outside with my dog, Stripey, or reading or volunteering somewhere. I love board games, friends, and good food.
You: Not a partier but not antisocial either, preferably into nonprofit or volunteer work, either in school or working, able to pass a credit check with the management company. Must love dogs – we frequently have the neighbor dog over to play with mine, and we may get a foster dog to play with Stripey. Prefer someone leftist like me, but as long as you’re open/tolerant, we’ll get along.
Rent is $680, plus 1/2 of all utilities (usually about $75 per person every other month). Available May 1 or a few days before through August 1. First and last month rent required, deposit negotiable. My current roommate may be returning this September, or I may be moving, but I may stay and then there would be the option to renew lease.
