LisaMParticipantI am in need of a consistent source of raw cream. Sea Breeze Farms has been a no-show at the sunday market for some weeks now with no word of returning.
Does anyone know where I can get raw, grass-fed, organic cream ( I know, I know, its a dietary issue)The raw part is the trick.
Any leads would be appreciated!

christopherboffoliParticipantNot in West Seattle, but Mountlake Terrace and East Madison St.:

They’re selling products from Pride and Joy Dairy of Granger, WA:

stinaParticipantI was just near West Seattle Produce and saw that they are now carrying raw milk. Hopefully their supplier is consistent. They’re at Alaska and Fauntleroy, near the Junction.

SueParticipantI don’t know if they carry it, but you can also try asking at the Creamery in Pike Place Market.

JillParticipantThe Creamery does carry raw milk products, Sue (and LisaM). I’ve gotten raw milk and yogurt there and have seen raw cream. I’d call ahead, tho, because they’re small and the selection can vary. (eta: in the context of “consistent source” I would ask them about it — maybe they have the capacity to make arrangements with regular customers…?? They are based on Vashon by the way.)
I don’t eat a lot of dairy any more, but I still try to find reasons to go there (a-hem, kambucha) because they’re so wonderful. :)

LisaMParticipantCool, I will check out the raw cream at the Produce Stand – that would be convenient!
I had checked at the Creamery last summer and they were not carrying raw products at the time, but sounds like they do now..
FYI – you can freeze raw milk and cream beautifully in smaller batches – I freeze the cream in ice cube trays. Thanks All!
