Saw it last Friday with the husband and some friends; good times. I can’t watch the first movie (beyond the first time) because of That One Scene (you probably know the one) but even I cracked up at how the musical handled it. I’ll never think of splinters the same way again. O_o
And I liked that they incorporated lines from the third movie, too. And the dude playing Ash looks remarkably like Bruce Campbell (not quite as much chin, but then, Campbell’s chin is remarkable in itself and ought to have its own zip code).
I’ve had “Do the Necronomicon” stuck in my head for four days. I may need to buy the soundtrack.
