RAVE: Bus Driver on 56

I just love the wonderful bus driver on the 56, don’t know his name yet, or full route, but he’s usually driving at my Olga/Admiral pu point at 5pm heading downtown, and always brightens my day/eve; there are many other wonderful bus drivers on this, my new favorite bus route to downtown; I was thinking while riding Tues eve that he deserved a shout-out, and today being Dump the Pump Day, seemed very appropriate; kudos to all the fantastic bus drivers

All except for the one guy on the 56 line, looks a bit like Ed Asner. He likes to blow thru red lights with pedestrians entering the sidewalk. Look at the light before you hit the gas, please!

Otherwise, huzzah for friendly bus drivers!

I think most of the bus drivers here are great!

I was waiting for the bus one day round the corner on Morgan junction when the bus pulled up and the driver had a huge sign put up in his dashboard that said “SMILE!” So I did. :) He opened the door to thank me as he started off. Funny guy. Stuff like that makes my day.

Don’t mean to take away from the rave but I’ve seen more flip offs, cuts offs, red light runners, and intersection blockers than I have seen smiles.
