jessDMemberWe really love West Seattle, but to the person who walked by and decided to take it upon themselves to prune my roses – how rude! Stay in your OWN yard! We are learning how to garden and you cutting down my roses on my property does not help me in any way! If you were trying to be helpful – leave a note!

MagpieParticipantMaybe it’s a sign of the economy…$9.99 at the grocery store, free at the neighbor’s. I have to admit, there have been many a time that I have walked past a house with some gorgeous flowers in the parking strip and thought “I wish I had my scissors…there are plenty to go around” and then, I realize that I have a wonderful garden and stealing isn’t nice. (There are lots of veggie gardens in parking strips, too)..

IrukandjiParticipantFunny. We have a few little girls in the neighborhood that go around picking flowers from our yards, then going door to door to sell them back to us to earn ice cream money.

jessDMemberThey actually cut down our roses and then left them in our yard. Sort of like – we made a mess, now you clean it up! It just makes me so upset…please if you are reading this…leave my yard alone.

BonnieParticipantHilarious! I cut flowers as a kid and tried to sell them. Got caught and we ran. LOL!
Sorry about your roses JessD. that just sucks.

ellenaterMemberI trick or treated in July once and made out like a bandit! Ya, not even close to relevant but it just reminded me…
Sorry about your roses. Put a sign out. Have you checked with you neighbor next door? That’s where i’d start.
