changingtimesMemberWhile driving to work at 6am came
over the genessee hill from the junction and almost rammed into a wrecked car sitting in the middle of the hill with glass and car parts all around it but no person in sight…..anyone know what’s up with that? Probally stolen,wrecked, then left?? It was an older maroon Subaru.

LenaParticipantThis is not my car, but Friday night by car was rear ended and totaled in the middle of the night.
Because it was not parked in front of our home we did not know it until one of our neighbors came and asked us about it on Saturday morning.
The person who hit it had left a note but not contacted the police. Right now it is still sitting out there looking like a wreck to be towed away today.
So it may be that the person the car belongs to does not know it has been wrecked or as you say it may have been stolen.
If it is in the middle of the street I would definitely put a call into the police so they can let the owner know if they don’t already.

christopherboffoliParticipantYeah, absolutely no sign of it now. Strange that there isn’t a heavy rescue call on the 911 log. Lots of houses around there too. Seems like someone would have heard it.

changingtimesMemberAwake? Lol! Barely! I must admit I was in a rush
and it was dark out! But coming down the hill I had to slam on my breaks to avoid hitting the car which was at an angle in the middle of the street. I did look to make sure
no one was inside. There was a car coming up the hill, that went by before I went around the wrecked one so I’m thinking other people saw this. Which is also why I posted :))))
