Hi, West Seattle parents! I’m curious if any of you have tried nature-based or outdoor programs for your preschoolers. I’m a local educator with a passion for outdoor learning, and I’d love to hear about your experiences, especially with the wonderful parks and natural spaces we have here. How do your kids respond to being outdoors, and do you find it beneficial for their learning and development?

That sounds wonderful! Outdoor programs can be such a great way for preschoolers to learn and grow, and I’ve seen how fresh air and nature spark curiosity. Lincoln Park and Schmitz Preserve are fantastic spots for nature play in West Seattle.
