remember a thread months ago where we were making up names for our respective neighborhoods. Wanna try some more?

    South Admiral = SAD

South of South Admiral = So SAD

North of Roxbury = NoRox ( sounds like a flu )

Since Beacon Hill is pushing for BeHi, with cool stickers I might add, I’m going to have to go with SoHi (South Highpoint).

JT…do you know Soaring Crane Massage? I went to school with Eric Spivack, the guy whose business it is. He’s terrific.

    I really like SoHi….good one :)

I live in the Morgan Junction, near Thriftway.

Don’t remember if it’s official, but I’ve always considered the entire area south of Morgan, on up the hill and beyond, as part of Gatewood.

So, I quess that means, I live in GatMo! :P

hmm…I’m north of Barton. NoBar. Or, I’m south of Henderson. SoHen. I’m East of the Ferry Dock. EDock. West of 35th. (or Westwood) WestWest.

Hmmm…I can’t come up with anything good. No imagination. LOL!

I don’t know him Jan. But he’s the one organizing the idea and selling the stickers. Did you see the article about him in the times? I love the idea. Some of the residents aren’t so thrilled. No sense of humor:) Of course, being SoHi, everything is funny to me.

Thanks for the link, JT. I don’t get the newspaper, and sometimes don’t pay attention to local news like that. He’s lookin’ good – lol. For those who might be reading this blog up on Beacon Hill..he’s a great massage therapist/acupuncturist..so if you don’t wanna come see me, go see him ;-)

I sometimes refer to this little corner of Heaven as Little Appalachia.

Since I moved into a bigger place near Morgan Junction and have been buying furniture I tend to think of it as MoJunc.

    LOL@ToddinWestwood.

Reminds me of a T-shirt in the real Appalacia.

“Paddle faster, I hear banjo’s playing!!!”

    NoRox does sound like infection.

JenV – we must be neighbors. I’m south of Dakota and north of Genesee as well. How about SoDa?

I don’t quite know where the Genesee and Belvidere neighborhoods start and end (our house was advertised as in the Belvidere nighborhood), but from looking at maps we’re clearly in the Genesee area. How about mixing the two and calling it GenVi. JenV would have her own neighborhood :)

Hey V.G. When we were looking at places to rent in Ballard back in 2004, after coming back from a 4 year visit to Los Angeles, people were advertising places all the way up on 103rd and Greenwood as “Ballard Charmer”.

real Estate agents seem to have creative license when writing up a house.

HIPO – HighPoint..yep, sounds like dog food!

My friends live in in Beacon Hill and I’ve been jealous of their BEHI car sticker for months. I just can’t get behind the “I (heart) West Seattle” stickers. A little too corny for me. I do wish we had something a bit cooler.

There is a marketing oppty here. I guess I’ll stick with my West5 and Cupcake Royale decals for now! :)
