Does anyone know a place in the Seattle area where I can get 75 Watt incandescent bulbs? Incandescent bulbs are banned now and I have used CFL (compact fluorescent) bulbs as replacements in most cases. I have one fixture however that CFL bulbs don’t seem to work in and now I am out of incandescent bulbs.

I have a few hundred stored in my garage. Willing to part with just one though.

Recently replaced a CFL porch light with an LED and it is much, much brighter; I am impressed. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Thanks for the replies. I found some incandescent bulbs at McLendon Hardware in White Center.

I replaced two CFL kitchen spots with LEDs and wow! what light. Nice clean but warm enough light and instant-on. They should last 10+ years according to the lifetime usage. I will have to check out Costco next time I need a dozen bars of soap.

Careful with those FEIT LEDs from Costco. Mine are turning out to be too good to be true. I have 13 flood style fixtures in my house that I’ve been swapping for LED BR-30 flood style from Costco about 2 or so every few trips (they’re not cheap!) I’ve had 2 burn out in less than 6 months (22.5 year lifespan my ass). Anyway, Feit sent one replacement but the 2nd they expect me to ship to them. I will probably just return it directly to Costco. It’s ridiculous they’re $10-15 for those flood lights and this is my stairwell/bedroom hallway it’s not getting major use at all!
